Turbo server crashed for still unknown reason. aeRO Dev's are continue searching for the hole that cause this. And we will also be taken a short range roll back to avoid server exploits that may ruin the server.

disable all autotrade now @logout anything that can make the char afk... or if the char or player is afk for 5 hours KICK FROM THE SERVER that is a very long time interval... :) so that there will be no lag after and PLS ban all players that are selling loads ban all duppers. and maybe GM sometimes do not only prioritize some donators that had beed hacked and they are requesting for rollback because he/she is not the only player in this game... this is just my opinion.. no hard feelings but this is just my observation of what is happening to the server..

That's not the case. Apparently, it's the people who are using the bugs to their advantage, which causes the server to crash. Duplicated items are due to bugs. That is one of the biggest flaws in all of Ragnarok Online. Rollbacks are the only key thing to restore a crashed server. Unless you want a wiped out server? Then you'll have to start all over on your characters and items.

InnoDB recovers from a crash or other unexpected shutdown by replaying its logs. MyISAM must fully scan and repair or rebuild any indexes or possibly tables which had been updated but not fully flushed to disk.
that is why gm is converting myisam into InnoDB XD

don't get mad nor angry about the staff of aeRO.
most of what they are doing is for the good of all.
the main reasons why they're doing this because of those fraudulent acts that could cause the server to breakdown..and mainly those persons doing it are our "kabayan" out there in which reflects to all of us who are playing in the game.
please bear with the staff of the server..they're making secure of what we have in the game..and for the sake of us all..and for them too even its quite unfair on our part but as much as to them.
for me, i dont like the rollback..but i could do nothing about it..blame those cheater in game..not the admins.

1 or 2 weeks rollback will be fine if it is necessary just to fix all the cheats and bugs, especially the duplicated items. This is fine compared to wipe out. ;)

I'm converting our database to INNOBDB which is more faster and reliable compare to Myisam, but it requires time because of the fact that our database is huge. It's impossible to give time when the server will be back as we have to do some investigation later.

There are always bugs that people abuse... One of the few things why the server might have crashed. Also, memory space. Players tend to abuse @afk and @logout... which will disrupt the memory space of the server.

I remember when i was on mayaan i create Moonie Hat for two days ,b'coz of moonie card is too hard to hunt and also 800 dragonfly wings...then a good guy gave me 2 berze card 2 Dark Ilu card 1 dark lord card ETC.(No cast Set) he say the game was just a waste of time(so he gave me his items)

I think the server is down more than a day how could the aeRO be the best private server if the players keep on waiting for the server maintenance?I suggest Baesher should make the maintenance during 12am-7am +8 GMT for the players wont be bored waiting even though its philippine time I think there is more filipino players than other nationalityfor the players wont be bored waiting ;D

Turbo server crashed for still unknown reason. aeRO Dev's are continue searching for the hole that cause this. And we will also be taken a short range roll back to avoid server exploits that may ruin the server.

Try mong magbawas ng NPC's. Agree ako sa pagreremove ng @afk kasi ang @afk ang minsan nagiging sanhin ng pagkakabug ng log-sql server or and log in server. Ang Npc's naman. Since maraming mga players sa turbo sabay sabay na gumagamit ang mga NPC's at ito ang nagiging sanhi ng isa pang pagkabug ng server. ang pinakamain cause jan ay ang automated event npc's. Specially, tutukan mo ang V4P npc mo, may posibilidad na isa yun sa naging sanhi..

just a piece of thought
rollback wont do much actually it will just create a lot of nagging players specially those one renting out
should be a inventory check and for a player / who have a lot in his inventory that cant be humanly acquired in the ample period of time should be deleted.
actually rollback will make all php seller happy since this means all sold items during the rollback period will return to their inventory, thus encouraging php trades more.
for new players this will just de-motivate them specially those who play on equal grounds to hunt for their own equips.
maybe we should start doing ip ban on php seller, firm hands to stop encouraging php trade also to divert players to donate on the server rather than doing the transaction outside the donation system
saw some players willing to buy GS for 4k-5k pesos, ( thats more or less 100$ )
@afk @logout @autovend maybe should be disabled for the moment to reduce lag significantly.
tunneling/ macro/ 3rd party software - hope the devs can do something to ensure server up to take this sort of abuse.

Apparently, not the whole world is already on May 6. A part of it is just Nearing 0800 hours of May 5th.
And GM Basher did tell us that they cannot predict the time when the server will be up. Let us be clear about this.

I'm converting our database to INNOBDB which is more faster and reliable compare to Myisam, but it requires time because of the fact that our database is huge. It's impossible to give time when the server will be back as we have to do some investigation later.

well he doesn't need to be logged in to the forum to fix the server you know..so maybe he didn't log in the forum to fix turbo
and another thing he said "turbo would probably be up by may 5" ..that doesn't mean that turbo will automatically be up on that day..remember there is a lot more players in turbo than other server(more database to fix)..and the problem in the whole server has started in turbo

aeRO is an old server, I mean... I'm a vet player... I have played here in like 6 years ago back in the days of the old staff management... and whenever I come back and it comes to my mind to DONATE something to this piece of s***, this kinda of s*** happens and I spent like 3 days without playing... and if i'm already angry at that AND the rollbacks being the game FREE, how would I be if I have donated some miserably coin to this server? Thx, you guys just proved me again I shouldn't waste anything with private servers... I'll just wait a few more days for Diablo 3, you guys are will probably be still waiting this **** to come back.

All duplicates are being wiped. The reason the server is down. It may take us longer since we bought a machine and script that could check all the dupli items. Wait until we announce when the server is up!

This is not a wipe-out take this as a confiscation of illegal items from players who cheats.
