Dear GM Basher,To be honest DDOS attack is just an easy problem to be solve. You could ask your hosting company to change your server ip or ask for multiple ip in order to avoid ddos hence they should have a firewall that is setup not unless your in a tight hosting plan that has no firewall. It is impossible to ban ip of the ddos attacker since I can assure you that they are sending multiple packets on a different ip address. You cannot do anything about it not unless you contact your hosting company to ask for a multiple changing ip.
