To be honest DDOS attack is just an easy problem to be solve.  You could ask your hosting company to change your server ip or ask for multiple ip in order to avoid ddos hence they should have a firewall that is setup not unless your in a tight hosting plan that has no firewall.

It is impossible to ban ip of the ddos attacker since I can assure you that they are sending multiple packets on a different ip address.

You cannot do anything about it not unless you contact your hosting company to ask for a multiple changing ip.

BTW I am also running a hosting company and can help you switch into our server much faster and cheaper.

I can give you a discount.

Switch to my hosting company GM Basher and I can give you a discount. I cannot promise that our server won't be down if being DDOS but I can guarantee you that it will only be down for a day no matter how many packets or bots they are sending.

Aero will never get wipe since its just a DDOS attack.  They didn't hack the server they just send packets to shut it down.

Imagine a dial up connection being shared to 100 people you will get lagged and eventually the connection will get dc.

You get dc but the files are intact.

I wonder why it is taking so long to get the server fix. Its just a ddos attack thats all its not a big deal to fix.

I'm not bashing you GM Basher.

My opinion why the server is taking so long to get fix is that lack of funds to fix the server such as upgrade into a hosting to request for multiple ip that is needed for rotation ip or  GM Basher is lazy to fix it up or Maybe he is busy wit his real life aka " sex life " hehehehe...
