I don't think it does any good to keep complaining about the server being down, especially in the case of a DDOS attack.  A DDOS attack is something that isn't easily adverted.  Just be patient people, this is only a game.  You'll live if you can't play it for a few hours (or in the rare case) a day or two.  The GMs here do a lot of this stuff on their own free time.
