Hello ladies and gents,

We have a new update to block the grf modification to use garm aim. However, this requires everyone to update their aeRO patcher. You will not be able to connect to the servers without updating it starting tomorrow.

Patcher not working? New aeRO Mini Installer version 3.7

How to update the patcher? Open the Play aeRO File inside your installation directory.

To better server you, I have migrated our site to a faster and updated web server. I also added some captcha to our forum registrations and logins. Hopefully this will get rid of the bots.

Please let me know if you find any dead links / bugs in our site.

hey guys looks like the update is not going to happen today. Me and the gepard dev will continue to work on this update. Meanwhile, we are going leave the server open with the old protection so that you can still play.

Hey guys, I'm extending this maintenance until tomorrow. There seemed to be a problem and the gepard dev is no longer available at this time. We will continue to work on this issue, hopefully, by tomorrow we can get the server back and running.

Im in the final stage of finalizing the update. Patching your client is required to be able to connect to the servers. Otherwise you'll not be able to connect.

Whats with the new update?

- use new version protector. It help with false detections of antiviruses.
- block the latest paid cheats
- has a lot new methods of detection cheat methods
- server side code create SQL tables and config automatically
- blocks some specially prepared chat messages which cause crash of game client
- fixes problem with "Warsaw" security module. EXE without Gepard doesn't start with this module. It is most important for players from Brazil
- crash log has additional info(loaded GRFs, loaded & missing resources, last sent/received packets). It can help to find the reason of crash
- build-in command "!vsync" to remove limit of FPS
- build-in command "!crash" to generate crash log. Sometimes it helps to detect libraries which cause problems

So hold your horses and wait for my further announcement.

Added new rule.
- Game master from other servers are not allowed in aeRO. You may choose to leave our server, and play on your server, or choose to play aeRO only.
